Alzheimer’s Disease

This week I have another uplifting story about a Wellness Advocate who volunteers caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease. She became motivated to help the elderly and contribute to finding alternative therapies to Alzheimer’s when her grandpa was diagnosed with the disease.

Alzheimer’s is a fairly common disease in the United States affecting approximately 5.1 million Americans. There are many ways to help fight this disease including donating to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America. Another way to help is to volunteer with a chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association as Wellness Advocate, Mary Gauldin, has done. She started volunteering when her grandfather was diagnosed with the disease and has worked to “provide a better quality of life for those living with this devastating disease.” What a wonderful cause to be a part of! What sort of ways have you found to volunteer in your own community?  Visit https://doterra.com/US/en/about/caring-volunteer-alzheimers-association for more information.
