Day 5 of 30-day Challenge

Day 5 of 30-day Challenge

Remember to continue the other items we started: (Day 1) LongLife Vitality Supplements, Zendocrine Capsules, (Day 2) a drop of lemon or grapefruit in a glass of water and Curbing Cravings Tea, (Day 3) evening detox bath, (Day 4) Morning Liver Flush drink. Today, let’s add something that will aid our parasympathetic system – need to schedule time to sit in a quiet room and either read a self-empowering book or possibly work a puzzle. Choose something to de-stress and allow your body to re-energize itself and get into a state to allow your body to start the healing / detoxing process. You might diffuse lavender or sandalwood to aid in producing a calming atmosphere.

Below I have added a good recipe for a nice garden soup that is easy to make, filling and especially great for this time of year. It is so delicious! It also freezes well if you end up with extra.

Garden Detox Soup

(It’s pretty forgiving if you feel like playing around with the ingredients)

  • 1 lb. browned beef (you could omit this for a vegan / vegetarian option and replace with 1 cup dried lentils or quinoa)
  • 32 ounces tomatoes (pureed, diced, or a mix)
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen sliced carrots
  • 1 diced onion
  • 4 to 6 cups Diced Zucchini
  • Approx. 2 cups of water
  • 1/2TB (more or less if you prefer) each dried basil, oregeno, sage, and parsley
  • Pepper and 1 tsp salt (1 tsp was all we needed but you can always add more)
  • Garlic powder or fresh minced garlic

Combine all in crock pot / slow cooker and cook until tender (High 5-6 hours, Low 7-8)
