Using Oils Around the House

Using Oils Around the House

Essential oils are found in many products today, usually as a perfuming agent. You’ll find them in things like air fresheners, toothpaste, deodorant, and perfumes. But they can also be found in plastics, crayons, paper, cleaners, paint, glue, and many other products.

With today’s quick online shopping it’s easy to purchase items like coconut oil, glass spray bottles, or pure essential oils. With a few items like these you are well on your way to creating your own products using essential oils.

End the day with a foot rub

One relaxing way to end the day is with a foot rub – for you, your spouse, or your kids. Using a carrier oil (a nice thick one is great for feet – like coconut oil), mix it with some calming essential oils (Lavender, Cedarwood, and Vetiver are all nice choices) and apply to your feet. Or give your kids a foot rub when you are tucking them in at night. Or give your spouse a foot rub while you chat before bed.
